Purchasing Regalia

Graduates can purchase regalia at the Chanticleer Store. If you have any question regarding regalia, please contact the Chanticleer Store at (843) 349-2360, located on 104 Founders Drive in the HTC Center. The hours are: 

Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. 

Saturday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Sunday: Closed 

 

Bachelor Package (cap, gown and tassel): $48 + tax 

Bachelor Package with Souvenir tassel: $52.50 + tax

Bachelor Package with Rhinestone tassel: $60 + tax

 

Masters Package (cap, gown, tassel & hood): $96

Masters Package with Souvenir tassel: $100.50

Masters Package with Rhinestone tassel: $108

Honor Stoles

Official Coastal Carolina University honor stoles that have been officially recognized through the Office of the Provost, may be worn by undergraduates who have earned a minimum 3.5 university GPA. Degree Candidate must have earned at least 60 graded (GHR) hours applicable toward the degree "in residence" at Coastal Carolina University, including both original and repeated grades that were taken under the University's Course Forgiveness option. summa cum laude:  GPA of 4.0

 

magna cum laude: GPA of 3.75 to 3.999

 

cum laud: GPA of 3.5 to 3.749

 

 

Notes on Protocol

Caps should be worn at all times, except during the benediction and National Anthem, when gentlemen should remove their caps. The tassel is worn over the right temple. When all degrees have been conferred the president will make an announcement; graduates may then move their tassels over to the left side.
