NATIONAL CANADIAN FILM DAY

CCU presents its third annual “National Canadian Film Day” in cooperation with REEL Canada and the Government of Canada. Featured films will include the bilingual French/English hockey movie The Rocket, and Trick or Treaty – a documentary film by Alanis Obomsawin that explores the injustices visited on First Nation communities by Treaty 9, the 1905 agreement in which First Nations communities allegedly relinquished their sovereignty over their traditional lands.
