We live in an era when feminist ideas – such as white feminism, power feminism, and girlboss feminism – increasingly work to preserve the status quo. In this talk, guest scholar Serene Khader, professor and Jay Newman Chair in the Philosophy of Culture at Brooklyn College-CUNY, discusses the difference between these faux feminisms versus those that help us pursue social justice.
