The PGA Golf Management Program at Coastal Carolina University is one of only nineteen schools in the entire country that is accredited by the PGA of America. A student who has successfully completed the program will leave the University with the credentials to become PGA of America, and will also leave with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. There is no question that the program would not be where it is today without the assistance of the PGA Golf Management Club, which is run by an elected student-led board. The PGA Golf Management Club has been a crucial element to the program, as it has shown its devout commitment to enhancing the game of golf in the Grand Strand area and its surrounding community. With the help of a committed board, the Club will be able to host a variety of tournaments over the course of the academic year for the enjoyment of its students. The PGA Golf Management Club at Coastal Carolina University feels that increased participation of the students on campus will ultimately result in a better experience for all. As a board, we plan to host a number of social events, tailgates, service activities and gatherings throughout the semester, giving us all the opportunity to grow relationships with the incoming freshman, making their transition into the program very comfortable. Our Club Board and fellow seniors serve as mentors to the program’s underclassman. We thank you for your interest and participation and look forward to another great year.
