Coastal Carolina is a liberal arts institution located in Conway, just minutes from the resort area of Myrtle Beach, S.C.USA.  The University offers more than 66 fields of study toward a baccalaureate degree and seven master’s degree programs, including the Master of Business Administration (MBA).  The University has nationally acclaimed undergraduate degree programs in Marine Science, Business Administration and Professional Golf Management, as well as economics, graphic design, biochemistry, information systems, musical theatre, health promotion, sociology and communications studies.

Coastal Carolina is a mid-size university with approximately 9,500 students, 384 full-time Faculty and more than 500 full-time Staff.  79 percent of our professors have doctoral or terminal degrees, and classes are usually small and professors are readily available outside the classroom for consultation with their students.  Over 20 CCU professors have been a part of prestigious international exchange programs, such as Fulbright.  Many others have been awarded significant grant awards for research, and/or provided teaching and developmental seminars around the world.

Students have access to a wide range of services and facilities on campus, such as wireless internet access, a brand new fitness facility, nationally competitive sports teams, and the University golf course. Students also have access to campus apartment style housing.  

Participating in campus activities is at the heart of a successful college experience, and CCU has over 160 active student organizations that encourage academic excellence, leadership, community engagement, and personal growth.
