International Student Orientation
All new international students are required to attend the International Student Orientation program. You must arrive on-campus on Wednesday, January 7 to move into housing. The orientation program will begin the following day.
During orientation students will be provided information on immigration regulations, the United States education system and academic expectations, adjusting to US culture and customs, creating or making changes to class schedules, and more. Students will also have the opportunity to go shopping, set-up a mobile phone, and open a bank account.
The orientation Schedule will be available beginning in December 2014.
The fee spring 2015 fee for International Student Orientation is $70 for all degree-seeking students. Degree-seeking students are required to pay the orientation fee. Orientation Fees are non-refundable.
Degree-seeking students will be able to register for spring 2015 International Student Orientation beginning on Monday, November 3.
Exchange Students and Double Degree Students
Exchange students and double-degree students, coming from partner insitiutions, are not charged an additional fee for orienation and do not need to register for orientation. Exchange students and double-degree students are also required to attend International Student Orientation and to arrive on-campus and move into housing on Wednesday, January 7th.
