Peer and Aspirant Institutions

In September 2012 Provost Sheehan requested a committee to be formed to go through the process of selecting peer and aspirant institutions. Peer and aspirant institutions are used for comparisons and benchmarking. The Peer and Aspirant Selection Committee was comprised of faculty, staff and students.

Peer Institutions - Institutions with similar characteristics to the University. Characteristics  are selected from student, financial, faculty, and general categories.

Aspirant Institutions - Institutions with characteristics that the University endeavors to emulate.
