About Bryan Information Commons
The Bryan Information Commons, named in honor of the Rebecca C. Bryan family, is a state-of-the-art, two story addition to the Kimbel Library. The Bryan Information Commons provides individual computer workstations, collaborative group Mediascapes, high-tech study and presentation rooms, and areas of comfortable soft seating to allow for reflection and study. Rooms are equipped with the technology needed to work on a group project, watch a movie, record a presentation, or participate in a Skype or Adobe Connect session, to name a few of their uses. Services
The commons is open daily. Please see our Hours page for detailed hours of operation.
Peter C. Bolton Help Desk: The Help Desk is staffed during all hours that the commons is open and provides the following services: General information, research assistance, printing and copying, checking out course reserves, checking out equipment for use in the commons (Eno Board control strip and pens, remote control for projectors and wireless keyboards) and installing disk drivers for Eno Boards. Please call 349-4050 to reach the help desk during operating hours.
Research Consultation: Reference librarians are available to provide one-on-one reference and research assistance. Please fill out the Research Consultation form. If immediate assistance is needed visit the Ask a Librarian page to email, chat or call a librarian.
The Math and Writing Centers will provide tutoring in the second floor classroom (Room 234) during the following hours:
Sunday: 4 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Monday - Thursday: 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.
