Applied Mathematics Major
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics currently offers two sets of requirements for the Applied Mathematics major depending on the year the student enrolls at the University. The first set of requirements apply to students entering Coastal prior to AY 2007-08 and include the old core curriculum. The second set of requirements apply to students entering Coastal in AY 2007-08 or later and include the new core curriculum.

The required curriculum for a major in Applied Mathematics is detailed below(last updated October 2008):
entered before AY 2010-11, entered AY 2010-11 or later.
