‘Portfolios’ showcases art by graduating CCU seniors

Graduating seniors from Coastal Carolina University's Department of Visual Arts Graphic Design and Studio Art will present their thesis exhibition "Portfolios" Dec. 4 to 12 in the Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery in the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts. An opening reception will be held in the gallery from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11.

"Portfolios" will feature works by William Baillie, Long Beach, N.J.; Christopher Bell, Conway; Mary Best, Conway; Tyrell Blanks, Fort Meyers, Fla.; Kevin Dunbar, North Augusta, Ga.; Holly DuRant, Hemingway; Nicolette Hartley, Mars, Pa.; Zoe Johnson, Myrtle Beach; Ashley Loper, Townville; Brittany McCormick, Pelzer; Alexandria Rogers, Myrtle Beach; Danielle Rome, Kingstree; Lauren Rose, Longs; Keyona Smith, Chicago, Ill.; Alexis Srisuwan of Columbia; and Cody Stevens of Loris.

The Bryan Art Gallery in room 129 of the Edwards College, located in the Edwards College at 133 Chanticleer Drive W.

The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday as well as noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, following commencement. For additional information, contact gallery director James Arendt at 843-349-6409.
