6 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.    HTC Fitness Facility
Take a break from moving in and head to the HTC Center to get in a workout.
 
9 a.m. to 7 p.m.    Student Move In 
Williams-Brice/Kimbel Arena
All students living in University Housing are able to check in during the time period according to their housing assignment. During this time don’t forget to pick up your FREE teal CINO TIE T-shirt!  Please make sure that you have your CINO Card (student ID) on you at all times. 
 
10 to 11 a.m.    TIES That Bind 
Johnson Auditorium
This program is designed to introduce minority freshmen to minority upperclassmen and staff at the University. If you signed up for the mentoring program during Summer Orientation or mailed your form to the office, you must attend. Those that are still interested in joining any of these organizations are also welcome to attend. 
 
11 a.m. to 4 p.m.    Coastal Beach Bash 
Crown Reef Resort
Grab a beach towel, the sunscreen, and a few friends and enjoy an afternoon at the beach at the Crown Reef Resort. Transportation will be provided.  Lunch is free for the first 100 students!  Shuttles will be running to the beach starting at 10:30 a.m. from the Student Center Bus Stop.
 

1 to 3 p.m.    Mountain Bike Ride
Meet at the Outdoor Center

Join Campus Recreation for a Mountain Bike Ride! Meet at the Outdoor Center and ride through local trails of the Waccamaw Wildlife Refuge. This is a great ride for beginners or experienced riders interested in the local trails. The trail has a combination of singletrack, doubletrack, and fire roads. The singletrack trail is technical and demands you attention and focus. The doubletrack and fire roads are fast and smooth. *15 spots available on a first-come, first-serve basis
 
5 to 6 p.m.    "How Bout This Party?" 
Wheelwright Auditorium
This session is for all females living in Grand Strand, Ingle Hall, Blue Ridge, and Piedmont. All communting females may also attend. This is a mandatory session and all new students must attend one of the sessions during CINO TIE. This is an interactive theatrical performance where students will have an opportunity to interact with the characters in the performance and explore their personal attitudes and behaviors through creating what happens on stage. Topics addressed in the performance include sex, alcohol, assault, bystander intervention, victim blaming and support.  
 
5:30 to 6:15 p.m.    Round Robin Session 1 
Wall 309 & 318
This session is to designed to acquaint you with the variety of organizations that the campus has to offer. This round robin style session will focus on Sport Clubs & Intramurals (Wall 309) and Faith Based Organizations (Wall 318).
 
6:20 to 7 p.m.    Round Robin Session 2
Wall 309 & 318
This session is to designed to acquaint you with the variety of organizations that the campus has to offer. This round robin style session will focus on Coastal Activities Board (CAB), Student Government (SGA), CHANTNation and  COAST. CAB, SGA, AND CHANTNation will be in Wall 309 and COAST will be in Wall 318.
 
6:30 to 7:30 p.m.    Sunset Yoga
On the lawn in front of the HTC Student Recreation Center
Come enjoy a relaxing ending to hectic day! All levels welcome for this basic yoga class beside the HTC pond at sunset. We provide the mats, unless you have your own. Meet out in fron of the HTC Student Recreation Center on the lawn for a great  yoga experience!
 
6 to 9 p.m.    CINO Night 
Prince Lawn
A mini CINO Day for you to come take part in a night of a carnival style atmosphere. Enjoy games, novelties, inflatables, and water slides. Refreshments will be provided. Come have fun and meet new people.  Make sure to bring your CINO card (student ID). You will need to check in before enjoying the events of the evening.
 
7 to 8 p.m.    "How Bout This Party?"

9:15 to 11 p.m.     Outdoor Movie: The Goonies
University Place Pool
After a long, busy day, come relax at the pool in University Place for an awesome time with friends and watch the Goonies.
 
9:15 to 11 p.m.     On Campus Movie: Despicable Me
Woods Pavilion
Wind down from a full day by hanging out with other members of the Class of 2018 and watch Despicable Me.
 

10 to 11 p.m.   Hypnotist / Mentalist
Johnson Auditorium

Coastal Activities Board presents hypnotist Michael Anthony. You will be amazed as your classmates (and maybe even you, if you choose to volunteer) will fall asleep at the snap of Michael's finger and obey the most ridiculous suggestions. So grab some friends and come see his sensational performance!
