2014 PHCWelcome!

We're excited to help you learn a little bit more about sorority life here at Coastal Carolina.  We are dedicated to ensuring that every woman in our sorority community has an amazing Greek experience, and becomes a better woman from joining.

The Panhellenic community seeks to build leaders through experiences in sisterhood, scholarship, philanthropy, and social enrichment.  Joining a Panhellenic chapter is a great way to meet people and to make Coastal feel like home.  We hope you find your home in the CCU fraternity and sorority community through participation in Panhellenic Recruitment.

We have covered the basics on this website but for a more thurough look at our council, community, and how to join visit our new site at http://ccupanhellenic.weebly.com/

Panhellenic Crest

The Panhellenic Creed

We, as Undergraduate Members of women's fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities.

We, as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.

Welcome to Coastal Carolina!

‌‌hannah eades2We, the Panhellenic Association are so excited to have you here at CCU.  Sorority life at Coastal is a great way to create lifelong connections with students from all across campus and the community.

The Panhellenic community seeks to build leaders through experiences in sisterhood, scholarship, philanthropy, and social enrichment.  Joining a Panhellenic chapter is a great way to meet people and to make the Coastal campus feel like home.  We hope you will find your home in the CCU fraternity and sorority community through participation in Panhellenic Recruitment!

The Panhellenic Association includes five Panhellenic Chapters and one colony.  Our members participate in a variety of campus organizations, including Student Government, Relay For Life, the Heart Walk, Orientation, Residence Life, and varsity sports.  Each chapter sponsors numerous philanthropy, educational, and social events throughout the year.  The Panhellenic Association sponsors popular campus wide events, including Love Your Body Day, International Women's Day, and Greek Games.

During the past year, Panhellenic women raised $15,000 for charitable organizations, performed 2,500 hours of community service, and maintained a GPA of 3.14, demonstrating that Panhellenic women truly embody what it means to be a Chanticleer!

Again, I would personally like to welcome you to Coastal Carolina and hope that you will make the choice to have the Panhellenic Association become a part of your CCU experience! Congratulations on becoming a Chant, and I hope to meet you this upcoming semester!
