Weekend Class Schedule:
Friday: 5 pm - 9 pm
Saturday: 8 am - 6 pm

This American Red Cross Lifeguarding course will train the participants in all the skills and techniques necessary to become a professional lifeguard over the course of a weekend. This training course is intended for those who seek a certification for the first time or for those who are renewing their certification. There will be videos, demonstrations, as well as hands on experience. The class covers equipment based rescues, spinal injury management and post – rescue care. Participants will also learn how to interact with the public.
*The First day of class, all lifeguard candidates will swim 300 yards, tread water for 2 minutes without the use of hands, and complete a 10lb brick retrieval test. These must be successfully completed to remain in the course.
The class is limited to 12 participants per session.
To reserve your spot in the class there is $25 non - refundable fee which will be applied to the cost of the class after passing the pre - requisites.
American Red Cross CPR/AED For the Professional Rescuer

This American Red Cross course provides training for people who are expected to respond to emergencies as part of their job duties. As a professional rescuer, you will learn to recognize and provide care for respiratory and cardiac emergencies. You will learn how to correctly use an Automated External Defibrillator to aid in cardiac emergencies. This class is intended for those who seek a certification for the first time or for those who are renewing their certification. There will be videos, demonstrations, as well as hands on experience. You must be on time to participate in this class.

The National Swimming Pool Foundation's CPO® certification training program provides training for efficient, effective, and economical use of swimming pools and spas. The CPO® Certification training program is beneficial to operators, owners, managers, service companies, public health officers, or anyone who has interaction with an aquatic facility. To attain the Certified Pool/Spa Operator® certification, a person must:
- Complete the Pool Operator Primer™ online training and participate in a one-day Pool Operator Fusion™ classroom course. The Pool Operator Fusion™ course is the second day of a classroom course.
- Successfully complete an open book exam with a minimum score of 75%
Course Fees include the Pool Operator Primer online training, an NSPF Pool & Spa Operator™ Handbook, and the second day of class. All students will need to complete their online training before coming to the Pool Operator Fusion™ (in - person/class) portion of the class.
