Crocs Junior Swim Team
The Coastal Carolina Crocs Junior Swim Team is open to ages 6-18 years old. We offer a great way for participants to enhance their swimming skills and become more involved in a competitive environment. Our focus is a fun, learning atmosphere where individuals can build endurance and refine their strokes. Our staff provides instruction on stroke technique and refinement. All participants must be able to swim at least 25 yards (1 length of the pool) using at least one of the competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke or butterfly). Please understand our staff is here to help refine strokes, not teach basic skills. If your child is not ready for this team environment, we suggest our American Red Cross Learn to Swim program.
There will be practices held through rain and heavy storms, but NOT lightning! We will make every effort to keep the schedule, however, in the event of lightning swimmers must exit the pool for at least 30 minutes after the last streak of lightning is seen. It will be up to the coaches and parents as to whether the swimmers will attend practice
Adult Swim Lessons
Campus Recreation will be offering adult swimming lessons. We will offer two different levels of adult groups wimming lessons, Beginner and Intermediate. Beginner level adult swim lessons are for those individuals who are not comfortable in teh water nor do they know how to swim. Intermediate level adult swim lessons are for those individuals who wish to become more comfortable in teh water, learn new swimming strokes, and develop proper stroke mechanics.
