Coastal Cycles Bike Program

Campus Recreation is excited to provide a FREE campus bike program, in order to offer an affordable and environmentally sustainable form of transportation to students. This program provides an alternative to driving and promote campus community. Campus Recreation has a fleet of approximately 100 cruiser bikes available for rent. All bikes come with a helmet and lock. 

To rent a bike, follow these steps: 

Check it out:
Visit the SRCC Outdoor Center during hours of operation and present your valid CCU ID Card AND another form of picture ID to check out a bicycle FREE of charge. The Outdoor Center is open M-Th 4pm-8pm, Fridays 9am-12pm & 4pm-6pm, Saturdays 9am-12pm and Sunday 4pm-7pm.

Take it out:
Travel across campus in style. Park and lock your bike at various campus bike racks. We strongly encourage bikes to remain on campus during the rental period. 

Bring it back:
You can rent a bike up to 2 weeks at a time. You must return your bike to the SRCC Outdoor Center on your due date so our staff is able to provide the necessary maintenance to keep the bike in the best possible condition. Late bikes result in a $5 per day fee, until it has been returned.

Do it again:
If you would like, you may renew your bike upon return on your due date for another 2 weeks. This is dependent on availability.
