Official Transcripts
Requesting an Official Transcript

Fill out a 'Transcript Request Form'.
OR
A written request may be made in lieu of a transcript request form. Please make sure that it includes your full name (include all names used while attending the University), SSN, Date of Birth, current mailing address, address where the transcript is to be mailed, first and last terms attended at Coastal Carolina (please include specific year and term for both), date, daytime phone number and signature. -
Mail, Fax, or 'Scan & Email' the transcript request form to:

Other Information

Cost - Coastal Carolina University will issue up to six (6) official transcripts per student per calendar year at no charge. A non-refundable fee of $5.00 per copy must accompany subsequent requests that are made within the same calendar year. Please make your Check or Money Order payable to Coastal Carolina University at the Office of Student Accounts located at 107 East Chanticleer Drive (Evergreen Hall).

Email Requests, Phone Requests, etc - All requests for transcripts must be made in writing (mail, fax or scanned document via email).

Picking up transcripts - Transcript(s) will not be released to/for anyone except the student, unless appropriately requested in writing by the student. Please present picture identification when requesting transcripts in person.

Checking the status of a transcript request - Students can logon to WebAdvisor and check the status of a requested transcript using the 'Transcript Request Status' option.

Students who attended CCU prior to Summer II 1993 - Coastal Carolina University became independent from the University of South Carolina in the Summer of 1993. If you attended before Summer II 1993, please contact USC directly at 1-803-777-5555. If you have further questions concerning this matter, please call the Office of the Registrar at 843-349-2019.

High School Transcripts and Transcripts from other institutions - We do not send out the students high school transcripts or transcripts from other higher education institutions.
Unofficial Transcripts
Students can access their unofficial transcript via the 'Total Course / Grades Listing' option on WebAdvisor for Students. Students can also request unofficial transcripts from the Office of the Registrar.
All the above information for Official Transcripts pertain to unofficial transcripts also. However, if you are making a request for an unofficial transcript, please indicate so on the transcript request form.
