This image, constructed by Dr. Jenna Hill who is a post-doc working with Dr. Gayes in CMWS, is a multibeam image collected offshore of Georgia. This image shows many long, linear features in the shelf sediments. The most likely mechanism for these features is glacial scouring. The present MRI award will provide CCU the capability to collect data of this type.
