North Myrtle Beach Fire Dept. was notified and officers of CCU DPS responded to investigate. During a survey of the fire and the damage it was discovered that there was a person stranded on the island. The person was found and it was determined that the person's campfire was the source of the brush fire. The person was later arrested for the fire. |
