Time: | 0108 | Officer: | McDowell | Type: | Alcohol Violations, Public Drunk, Resisting Arresst | Location: | Quail Run Village | Description: | CCU DPS ooficers responded to Quail Run Village in reference to a complaint of underage possession of alcohol and excessive noise. Upon arrival the officers observed empty beer contaiers and loud noise. A number of individuals were seen fleeing the house as the officers approached. While officers were attempting to identify the residents of the house several people tried to flee the area. One of the subjects attempting to flee became belligerant when stopped and began to encite the other subjects in the area. This subject began to fight the officers as they attempted to arrest the subject. The subject continued to fight and was sprayed with pepper spray. The officers were able to handcuff the subject and called for EMS to check the subject before transporting to the Horry County Detention Center. The subject who fought with police was arrested for resisting arrest, two residents of the house were arrested for alcohol violations. All three subjects were transported to the Horry County Detention Center. |
