The vehicle was stopped and the driver was interviewed. The driver was given an opportunity to attempt SFSTs. The driver was not able to successfully complete the SFSTs and was taken into custody. A search of the vehicle incident to arrest revealed alcohol in an open container in the passenger compartment. The driver was transported to a breath testing facility but refused to provide a sample. The driver was transported to the Horry County Detention Center, the vehicle was towed. |
