While stopping the vehicle the officer observed a can being thrown from the vehicle. The driver was interviewed and determined to be unable to operate a motor vehicle. The driver was issued a citation and taken into custody. The vehicle was searched and material believed to be marijuana was discovered. One of the passengers admitted to throwing the can from the vehicle. The three passengers were issued citations and taken into custody. All four persons were transported to the Horry County Detention Center. The vehicle was towed. |
