The officer located and stopped the vehicle to interview the driver. The driver was given the opportunity to attempt SFSTs. The driver was not able to successfully complete the SFSTs. The driver was taken into custody and transported to a breath testing facility. The breath test confirmed that the driver was over the legal limit. The driver was issued a citation and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. While waiting for a sober driver and the tow truck a CCU DPS officer observed one of the passengers behaving in a manner indicating intoxication. The subject then refused to comply with the officers directions. the second subject was issued a citation and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. |
