Time: | 0033 | Officer: | Fogle | Type: | Traffic stop - speeding, possession of marijuana | Location: | Hwy. 544 | Description: | While on patrol a CCU DPS officer observed a vehicle traveling over the posted speed limit (confirmed by pacing the vehicle) and stopped the vehicle to investigate. The driver was interviewed and during the interview the officer observed the odor of marijuana. The driver admitted the occupants had been smoking marijuana. During a search of the vehicle marijuana was discovered. The contraband was seized. All three occupants were issued citations and released at the scene. |
