The officer requested that the driver attempt SFSTs. The drier was not able to successfully complete the SFSTs. The driver was taken into custody. During the interview the driver was determined to be in possession of cocaine. The driver was transported to a breath testing facility. the driver submitted a breath sample that showed they did not have alcohol in their system. The driver was transported to the Conway Medical Center for a urine sample. The driver was issued a citation and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. The vehicle was released to a sober driver. A warrant was later obtained and served on the driver for possession of cocaine. |
