Time: | 0217 | Officer: | Dale | Type: | Panic alarm - possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, resisting arrest, hindering an officer | Location: | 1015 Residence Blvd. | Description: | CCU DPS officers responded to a panic alarm at an apartment at 1015 Residence Blvd. The officers got no response to their knock at the door. The officers found the door to be unlocked and announced and entered the apartment. The officers located and interviewed the occupants. During the interview officer observed the odor of marijuana and could see a glass pipe in plain view. The resident of the apartment consented to a search. During the search marijuana and paraphernalia were discovered. No one in the apartment would admit to possessing the contraband. All the subjects were arrested. As the officers were taking the subjects into custody one subject resisted the officers and a second attempted to hinder the officers.University Housing staff were present at the scene. All subjects were issued citations and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. One subject will be held pending a further warrant. The contraband was seized. |
