The subject vehicle was identified by witnesses and officers attempted to locate the subject vehicle. The witnesses were interviewed at the scene and described the subject, the subject vehicle and the missing property (a trailer). The subject vehicle was located and the driver was interviewed. During the interview the officers were able to observe the odor of an alcoholic beverage about the subject. The subject was found to be driving on a suspended license. Open containers of alcohol were discovered in the vehicle. The missing property was attached to the subject vehicle at the time of the traffic stop and interview. The property was returned to the University and the subject vehicle was released to a licensed driver. The subject was transported to the CCU DPS office for a further interview. The subject became uncooperative, loud and boisterous. The subject was issued a citation and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. Warrants will be sought for other charges. |
