Welcome to the CCU Student Housing Foundation at Coastal Carolina University
CCU Student Housing Foundation
The CCU Student Housing Foundation was formed in 2003 and operates exclusively for the benefit of Coastal Carolina University to lease, operate, manage, and contract for the construction of student housing facilities. The Foundation owns University Place, an apartment-style housing complex with 2,079 beds. The Foundation entered into a Management Agreement with Coastal Carolina University. The University markets, operates, leases and maintains University Place property.
The Foundation's board of directors primarily comprises of business and community leaders from the University's designated service area. The Board of Directors are acutely aware of the University's needs related to housing and are committed to providing exceptional student housing.
The CCU Student Housing Foundation is not a corporation for profit and is operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes as a 501(c)3 corporation.
