New Student Checklist

1. Read about the Family Educational Rights Privacy Act (FERPA).
2. Access the Student Account Center to view your account and make payments.
3. Authorize Users such as parents or guardians to access your Student Account Center.
4. Add import academic dates to your calendar by clicking the subscribe button on the Academic Calendar.
5. If you are unable to pay tuition in full by the due date, enroll in the Payment Plan.
6. Put a reminder on your calendar to check your account balance each month.
7. Make sure your Financial Aid file is complete in Self Service.
8. Complete your Financial Aid Authorization via Self Service so that your financial aid can be applied to all semester charges on your account.
9. Enroll in Direct Deposit if you plan to have a Financial Aid refund.
10. Attend an Orientation session.
