Campus and Community Sustainability Initiative
|
The Campus and Community Sustainability Initiative is committed to transform Coastal Carolina University into an environmentally sustainable university through campus operations, student curriculum, engaging students through learning and outreach, and collaboration in the community through sustainable stewardship of resources. Established in 2005, the Sustainability Initiative coordinates sustainable green programs throughout campus, such as recycling, water refill stations, and transportation, as well as extracurricular campus activities. The office manages the Eco-Rep Program, the Student Green Team and serves as an advisor to the Students for Eco Action student club and the Campus Garden. Sustain Coastal is available as a sustainability resource to the campus and community. For more information, please call (843) 349-5041 or email sustain@coastal.edu |
