Advising Hold Information

Advising Hold Information

Are you seeing an ADF or ADS hold? Click the section below that pertains to you for more information.

Each semester, an advising hold is placed on your account to ensure that you meet with your academic advisor. This meeting will include a discussion of classes for the coming term, graduation plans, opportunities to get engaged on campus, and other topics related to your major or your success.

To schedule an appointment with your advisor click here: Scheduling Calendar

Some faculty advisors do not use this system: however their contact information is provided so that you can schedule your advising appointment via email.

You will be able to meet with your advisor once you complete online orientation. Please see the chart linked below to identify your advisor. You may then schedule an appointment with your advisor:

  1. Locate your advisor on the chart here: Transfer Advisors
  2. Go to the appointment scheduling system: Scheduling Calendar
  3. Select “Strategic Advising and Peer Leadership”
  4. Select your advisor’s name
  5. Choose an appointment time from the calendar.
