Biography

Shawn received both his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from Coastal Carolina University. Prior to starting at Coastal, Shawn served as an Intern Program Coordinator for a company in Jacksonville, FL. His main responsibility was supporting and coaching college students to ensure they were getting the most out of their internship experience. Shawn enjoyed assisting others in their future planning which is what led him to academic advising.

Outside of work, Shawn enjoys attending sporting events, participating in live theatre, and traveling. So far, he has visited seven countries; he visited most of them while studying abroad through Coastal! While academic performance is pivotal to collegiate success, Shawn reminds students to enjoy their time in college and experience life outside of the classroom.
