Biography

Born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Emily attended nearby Millersville University where she received her B.A. in Psychology in 2011. While there, she was active in the University Activities Board, served as a tour guide, and spent a semester studying in London. After a gap year working at Franklin & Marshall College as an Admission Event Assistant, she pursued her M.A. in Student Affairs in Higher Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Upon graduation in 2014, Emily served as Director of Student Activities-Resident Director at University of Mount Olive. After four years, she accepted a position in student conduct at the University of Nevada, Reno where she was promoted to Interim Assistant Dean, Student Conduct. With this background and experience, transitioning to advising was the perfect fit. In Emily’s free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and photography.
