Biography
Patience Locke Kotwa has been the coordinator of the Foreign Language Instructional Center (FLIC) at Coastal Carolina University since January 2004. In addition, she is a teaching associate in the Department of Languages and Intercultural Studies, where she teaches German.

Interesting Facts
She was selected from a national pool of applicants by the Austro-American Education Commission to spend a year in Austria as a Fulbright Teaching Assistant in an Austrian Secondary School in Vienna, Austria. She received a second-year assignment and also taught Austrian children English in a summer camp environment. One of her favorite memories is skiing in the Alps.
