Biography

Dr. Reid joined Coastal Carolina University in 2014 as Associate Professor of First-Year Writing & Instructional Technologies. He teaches courses in composition, new media, and instructional design. His scholarly publications reside in new media, mainly, and he contributes work regularly to the Center for Research and Reform in Education at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Reid also co-founded the digital badge program, Coastal Composition Commons. He lives in Wilmington, NC where he chases waves with his wife and four children.
