Biography

Biography

Donald Sloan was born in 1956 in Bethpage, New York. He is an award-winning composer of chamber and large ensemble works, and has been performed over a wide region of the country as well as internationally. He also gives talks about the value of a broad education and is a 3-time champion on Jeopardy! He is active in the area of Jewsih Music and has studied Jewish chanting and folk music. He is currently Professor of Music at Coaastal Carolina University.
