Area Girls Scouts meet mascots on basketball court

CCU Athletics recently hosted a Girl Scout and Mascot Day at the women’s basketball game vs. Liberty in Kimbel Arena.

Girl Scout troops of Eastern South Carolina attended the game, and they all received CCU Girl Scout Day patches. 

Troops  #527 from Longs and #61 from Myrtle Beach won a pizza party compliments of Papa John's for their most spirited sign in support of Coastal against Liberty.

Additionally, several local mascots were present to take pictures with kids and sign autographs. At halftime, the mascots took the court and participated in a friendly game of basketball.

The girls and their leaders also enjoyed a cookout compliments of Aramark.
