From the moment I stepped foot on Coastal’s campus, I felt an overwhelming sense of home. This feeling was not fabricated by the fact that campus is located three minutes from my childhood home. It was because every aspect of this campus welcomes each student with open arms. Choosing a college is not an easy task, but I am reminded every day that choosing Coastal was the best decision of my life.
I am convinced that my college experience would not be the same without my sorority. In my freshman year, I chose to go through recruitment where I met my lifelong friends in Alpha Delta Pi. I became passionate about my major of communication and minor of women's and gender studies and joined clubs and organizations that enhanced my knowledge on the subjects. Soon, I became ADPi’s recruitment and marketing vice president where I now oversee our chapter’s recruitment efforts. Now that I am a junior, I can truly say that each opportunity Coastal has presented to me has changed my life. I am forever grateful to this college and my peers for molding me into the person I am today.
