About Honors at Coastal
In the HTC Honors College, you will find a community of motivated students interested in both disciplinary and interdisciplinary learning and research. You will find honors seminars that emphasize active, collaborative learning. Honors courses are designed to introduce you to the range of disciplines and practices constituting the Arts, Sciences and Humanities.

Honors students have access to smaller classes, a dedicated honors residence hall, priority registration, and support for honors research and study abroad through the HTC Scholars Program.
Each Fall, HTC Honors College enrolls approximately 150 new first-year students. There are also application processes for mid-year admissions of current Coastal students and transfer students. There are currently over 700 total students in the HTC Honors College.
