Film and Production Studies
Learn the critical and practical aspects of filmmaking.
The minor in Film and Production Studies combines both academic and practical aspects of films and filmmaking, offering you analytical and critical skills. The program offers you curriculum in both film studies – the analysis, criticism, history and theory of film – as well as film production – the directing, editing, and making of films and videos. Open to any major, it perfectly complements majors involving storytelling and innovation, including such majors as communication, English, history, interdisciplinary studies, journalism, languages and intercultural studies, marketing, religious studies, theatre, or visual arts.
