Marching Band presents finale concert at CCU

Coastal Carolina University's marching band, Spirit of the Chanticleer, will present its season finale concert on Friday, Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in Wheelwright Auditorium.

In its fourth annual season finale concert, Spirit of the Chanticleer, comprised of 110 students from all different majors, will perform music from the 2006 football season halftime shows. The marching band's colorguard and twirlers will also perform.

The group is under the direction of Jim Tully, director of bands, assisted by Kurry Seymour, director of percussion studies and Coastal's assistant band director.

General admission is $8 and admission for alumni, senior citizens and Lifelong Learning members is $6; children 18 and under are free. Tickets for the performance must be picked up from Wheelwright Box Office Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. For more information, call the Wheelwright Box Office at 349-2502.
