CCU student music groups perform at Spectrum Concert

Coastal Carolina University's annual Spectrum Concert takes place on Friday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m. in the Wheelwright Auditorium. The concert is part of CCU's Family Weekend and will be held at Wheelwright Auditorium.

The Spectrum Concert is an hour of uninterrupted music, highlighting various music groups from the CCU Band program, including Spirit of the Chanticleer Marching Band Drumline, Steel Band, Flute Choir, Guitar Ensemble, Low Brass Ensemble, Jazz After Hours, Sax Ensemble and the Symphonic Band. The musical styles will also vary from classical to jazz and show tunes. The grand finale features a performance of the celebratory "Radetzky March" composed by Johann Strauss Sr.

General admission tickets are $5; CCU and HGTC students, faculty and staff are $3; and children (ages 10 and under) are free and must be accompanied by an adult.
