CCU Jazz Ensemble to present Fall Concert
Directed by Matt White, coordinator of ensemble and jazz/commercial music at CCU, the program will feature music from new composers in a variety of genres for big band instrumentation. The concert will offer progressive rock, straight-ahead jazz, swing, popular music, New Orleans brass band music, and pieces by Steely Dan and Dvorak.
Joining the ensemble as a guest soloist is Grammy-award winning saxophonist Kenny Anderson, who has performed with Arturo Sandoval, Gloria Estefan, Tom Jones and Larry Carlton.
Senior citizens, OLLI members, alumni, teens, and CCU/HGTC faculty and staff may purchase tickets for $5, and CCU/HGTC students and children's tickets are $3. Box To reserve a ticket, call the Box Office at 843-349-ARTS (2787) or visit during open hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday through Friday.
