RSM GOLF CLASSIC
The annual RSM Golf Classic brings together more than 100 Coastal Carolina University alumni, stakeholders, and community partners for a four-person team, 18-hole tournament each spring at the Hackler Golf Course, located on CCU's campus.
Organized by students enrolled in RSM490: Program and Event Planning, the RSM Golf Classic utilizes experiential learning to educate students and prepare them for the recreation and sport industry. Golfers enjoy a competitive afternoon on the links and a post-tournament banquet featuring raffles, silent auctions, food, and fellowship with students.
Through additional marketing, sponsorships, and partnerships, the event raises funds for the RSMA (Recreation and Sport Management Alliance) Scholarship, which is awarded to a CCU student majoring in recreation and sport management (RSM). The 2024 tournament raised more than $3,800 for student scholarships.
The 14th annual RSM Golf Classic is scheduled for Friday, April 4, 2025. Historically, this event has sold out weeks in advance! Please check back for the 2025 tournament registration information in February.
