Grounds at CCU
Grounds is staffed with skilled professionals in their trade, all of whom provide a variety of outdoor maintenance services to the Coastal Carolina University community. Maintaining healthy trees and shrubs is a priority in keeping our campus beautiful. The grounds department is responsible for the following services on campus:
Routine Maintenance
- Grass: planting, cutting, fertilizing, weed control
- Trees: planting, pruning, pests management, tree removal
- Sod replacement, shrub bed renewal, repair, mulching, and seeding
- Litter removal and leaf recycling repair
- Maintenance of sidewalks and lawn sprinkler systems
Landscaping
- Seasonal flowers: install and maintain annuals and perennials in color bed areas
- Landscape improvements: renovation and repair
- Floral design: design floral and foliage for special events
Street Services
- General street and parking lot routine care
