Purpose of the Student Conduct Board

The purpose of the Student Conduct Board (SCB) is to uphold the integrity and behavioral standards of students by adjudicating violations of the Code of Student Conduct. The membership is made up of elected faculty, students appointed by the Student Government Association and Presidential appointments from the faculty/administration.

Requirements of students serving on the SCB

The student members must be in good standing, have completed a minimum of 30 semester hours, carry a minimum of 12 hours per semester for the duration of their service, and be appointed by the Student Government Association so that each academic college is represented. A student will be considered to be not in good standing if he/she is currently suspended, on disciplinary probation, has non-completed actions, or a cumulative GPA of less than 2.5.

Members are also required to attend a full-day training session each semester.
