Coastal Carolina University Arboretum

ArbNet Level II Accreditation BadgeThe mission of the CCU Arboretum is to be a place of education, research, discovery, and wellness for CCU students, faculty, staff, and the broader community, and to be a leader in ecological restoration for the region. It covers all 322 acres of main campus and is an accredited Level II arboretum by ArbNet and recognized as a Tree Campus by the Arbor Day Foundation. Our species collection includes more than 100 species of trees and other woody perennials. Information about each tree in our collection is available in our map-based inventory.

The formal entrance to the Arboretum is our Native Species Collection, located on the corner of University Boulevard and Chanticleer Drive East across from Baxley Hall and adjacent to Wheelwright Auditorium.
